Good scope for rimfire silhouette shooting
I just came across a silhouette shooting group. It looks like fun and I'd like to give it a whirl, without rushing out and buying a whole new rig. I'd like to use my old Remington Targetmaster (which I personally bought 50 years ago!) and would like opinions on the magnification/objective/brand of scope that would work and also not break the bank. Your thoughts, please ... Thanks!

The Burris 4X12 Compacts with AO make a nice scope for putting on a 22 RF.

I use a simmons 6x18 AO with 40 mm objective. It is actually an air rifle scope. It is mounted on my 10/22 and cost around $100 4 or 5 years ago. It has target turrets which makes click adjustments easy with your fingers. Good shooting! 0
