Rebluing is needed

Forget the collectors value, forget the other stuff, I am asking about BLUING. The gun was loaned to a teen that left it in the garage for weeks in humid winter weather. The grandfather took steel wool to the ithaca 37 deerslayer to remove the rust spots....no harm done, no pits, no scratches, just damage to the finish.....WHERE can one send a gun for rebluing. I do not need a fancy custom race ten million dollar finish. I need to send a sound, undamaged gun to be hot blued.

    Maybe,the best place would be back to Ithaca.Call them and see what they would charge,you may be surprised. [^]

    As I said before, look at your local gunsmiths. They are going to be as cheap as anywhere.
