SMITH & WESSON MODEL 15-4 NEED INFO.

Went to the local gunshop today.Found two matching blued Smith & Wesson 38 Special revolvers.Model 15-4 with both in excellent condition with 4 inch pinned barrels.They have square butts,with the small grips.Serial numbers are 10 numbers apart from each other.They are priced at $215.00 each.
I paid for one and put the other on layaway.Did I do good?

    You did real good. Model 15's come from the factory with the small "Smith" grips.

    That price is very good for a 15 in good cond, and you got a pair with very close serial numbers. Bravo. Did either gun come with its original box? If so, then you did even better.

    They had no factory boxes,but the one I took home had a Uncle Mikes nylon holser.The other one had a locking plastic box,but I did not get a good look at it.The used case at the gunshop had alot of guns for sale on commission from the same owner.Once I pay the other Smith off,I may buy something else.
