There should be no difference between a german 98k and a 98 made by FN in reciever dimentions. As to the Turk mfg, it would depend on model and who made it, If of europeam mfg it should be the same. To the best of my knowledge all european 98 actions are made to the same spec's,

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS ON THE RECEIVER BRIDGE, COMMERCIAL ACTIONS DO NOT HAVE A 'HUMP' FOR THE STRIPPER CLIP GUIDES. YOU CAN USE A COMMERCIAL F.N. SCOPE MOUNT ON A MILITARY RIFLE IF YOU GRIND THIS 'HUMP' OFF. REDFIELD MAKES A MOUNT FOR THE MILITARY RIFLES THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE GRINDING.

its not advisable to "grind off" the hump on many TURKISH MAUSER rifles. many early variants, including the MODEL 1903, and MODEL 1903/38 have a modified bolt stop, wich has a curved arm that projects upward, putting pressure on the left side of the cartridge clip to keep it in position while cartridges are stripped from the clip. altering the bolt stop is not the best idea...

    best regards, mike.
