another steyr pistol question...
Sirs,
A friend of mine has a Steyr .32 acp semi-auto pistol with a broken firing pin. We've called Numrich but the can't tell us if they have the part without the model number. The pistol has several patent numbers, and three other numbers stamped or engraved on it, but nothing I can say would be a "model" number. The patent numbers on the left side of the barrel are as follows: PAT. No 9379-05
No 25025-06 No 16715-08
On the right side of the barrel is: PAT. + No 40335
On the left side of the barrel under the patent numbers is the number 11, under that on the frame near the barrel pivot screw is what I think is the serial number of 44xxx
On the backstrap is S.W. 4681(this appears to be engraved rather that stamped)
The magazine has 4681 on the bottom of it.
Any help in determining the model number and locating parts, in case Numrich doesn't have them, would be greatly appreciated. My guess is it's a model 1908 auto, but I would like to be sure.
Thanks in advance.

Yes this is the mdl 1908 I have one identical to it. On the r/s of the barrel should read Pat.+No 4C335, not 40335. My serial number is 46xxx. Mine is a bring back from WW11 by my father. This is the info I got here on gb, ww.e-gunparts.com/products. phone #1-866-686-7424. Hope this helps. I know there are people here on gb that know a lot more than me. 0 -
