Well, guys, it's legal!. First time I ever got my hands on an FAL, nice piece of machinery, slicker than my Garand. In fact, I'm getting a kit and building another.
This rifle brings to mind the Remington Rolling Block, used from 1860's to 1920's and carried around the world. This is slicker than frog hair.
Found STG 58 kits at $279 that are said to be excellent, Imbel receivers at $179 plus transfer fees if you're like me and no FFL. Said to be an easy build by some guys on another forum and detailed instructions on the web. Problem is tools.
