Yes you can. I use the post office most of the time, most people at the UPS office will give you a hard time cause they really don't know.

Thank you very much - I just did a search here on GB they have all the information on this site. It is very detailed . Once again proving this is the best gun site on the web. Thanks to all

If you are shipping a rifle or shotgun, you can ship by the USPS with no problems, (I've found that Priority Mail is the best way to go).

On the other hand if your shipping a hand gun you HAVE to ship through either UPS, ( If it's BROWN FLUSH IT ). or FedEX. In my experience FedEX is the way to go for handguns.

If you are shipping to a gunsmith or to a factory for repair or custom work, it should be no problem. However, if you are shipping to a dealer, be sure to check first to be certain they will accept the rifle. While is legal, some FFLs are way into covering their tails, and will only accept shipment through another FFL and not from a non-licensee.

    He Dog,

I'm beginning to believe that's "covering your fellow FFL dealers arse" by ensuring that an FFL makes money on both ends. Just my thoughts.
