Marlin model 700 .22LR semi auto carbine?
Can any one tell me when they made this or any info on it like when it was made and value I can find anything on it. Also an e-mail for marlin would be nice there web sight is use less. It appears to be an earlier version of the 995 they are almost identical. I am wondring if parts will fit it?

I had one in the 80's. Had a heavy, tapered barrel on it and would shoot pretty flat out to about 200 yds. Good for jack rabbits or other small game at close to medium range, but as far as 200 yds., you would have to be a real good shot to hit a coke can twice out of 5 shot clip. Got bored with it quickly, but it sold quickly at $300.00; it was in excellent condition. Mine was a 700DL, I believe.
