Electronic powder dispenser & scale

Any one have any comments on an electronic powder dispenser and scale combo. I was looking to purchase one, and was wondering if they are all they are advertised to be. Thanks.

    I have the Lyman 1200dps.Although it seems to be accurate and do what it is supposed to,it is slow to set up and a real pain to cleanup after use.My opinion,buy a nice set of electronic scales and forget the combo.

    Well I hate to disagree but I got the same Lyman I think and I am really liking it! For the last 30 years I've been painstakingly weighing each and every charge on a little balance scale, so I thought I'd go with a digital scale and powder dispenser, shopped around and found that Graf & Sons was cheaper than everyone by nearly a hundred bucks so I bought the Lyman. Been using it almost 6 or 7 months now and it has upped my production by a bunch. It takes a half hour to let it set up and you have to pick it up and shake it to get the last of your powder out when you are done loading but for me it's way faster and more conveniant than the "old way".

    I have both setups and use the electronic one more. I mainly use the mechcanical RCBS 505 scale to double check if my electronic scale looks off, it never is though.

    Another way to go instead of Lyman is the PACT system. I got mine a few months ago and put a few hundred rounds through it with no problems. Also use it to load up to 235gn of powder for my buddy's 50BMG and it drops that charge pretty quick.

    Only thing with an electronic scale is you HAVE to let it warm up. I just turn it on when I get home, have a bite to eat, prep cases, or do whatever I need to do before I drop powder and let the scale warm up for 30minutes.

    If you gotta load in volume, electroic is the way to go for speed and accuracy.

    Ditto,..I have the Pact system and it works great. Throws powder quick and accurate,..cut my load time in 1/3's. I don't have to let mine warm up as I leave it ON at all times plugged into a surge protector.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
