Progressive Loaders?

All the loaders mentioned are good, and whatever your choice, I am sure you won't be disappointed.
My particular favorite is the Dillon 550. I have had one of these for five years and have reloaded tens of thousands of .45 ACP with mine. It has never broken and performed flawlessly.
I did have an accessory break though. I called Dillon to purchase a replacement part and they sent it to me for free. No questions asked. Dillon has unbeatable service.

I also have the Dillon 550 for about 8 years and love it.I have had one part break and I have broken one on my own. Both replaced at no charge.I currently load 45 ACP,45 Colt,38,357 and 44 Mag.Have done 380 and 9 in the past.
Dillon 650 will give you auto index and opprotunity to add optional case feed.

I have had a Dillion 1000 for many years. Dillion products are well designed, well made and backed up by folks that know the product. However, all my newer dies are Hornaday. [8D] 0 -
I like the Hornady Lock-N-Load it has auto indexing which Dillion Presses in the same price range do not have and their warranty is great.I also have two Lee Progressives I like but you didn't ask about that brand. [:)] 0 -

I know a few people that have various Dillon Presses and all are quite pleased with them. A few years ago I read on other web pages (AllOutdoors was one) where people that had the Hornady were displeased not only with the product, but were really upset at the responses they got from Hornady Customer Service(or non-service). That's been a few years back, but you might want to check the current operation before buying. 0 -

I've had my Hornady since they came out at least 5 or 6 yrs. I broke a part three times because I didn't follow directions.It was replaced every time FREE of CHARGE.Great Service. [^]0 -
I feel compelled to vote in favor of Dillon. I have a 650 for rifle and handgun, and a 900 for shotgun ammo.
I very seldom have any problems, but if I do Dillon will quickly help over the phone or replace anything broken free of charge.
You cant beat their warranty and service.

Definitely Dillon. 550 or 650 depends on how much you value auto-indexing. I've had both and prefer the 650 with an auto casefeeder for loading LOTS of ammo. But if you're going to be loading less than 500-1000 rounds at a time, I'd say the 550 should be just fine. 0 -
