MADE IN THE 70'S..... HOW MANY I DON'T KNOW....BUT IF U HAVE AN EXCELLENT ONE I WOULD ASK AT LEAST 200.00 TO 250.00. THE ONE I HAVE POSTED IS NEW WITH LOADING TOOL AND INSTRUCTIONS IF I WERE TO SELL, I WOULD ASK 500.00....IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHO WANTS IT BAD ENOUGH...THEY ARE DISCOUNTINUED AND IN DEMAND....SO

Wallie I have a 45 drum mag also, but no instructions, where did you get yours? I sure would like a copy as mine is wound so tight i can't unload it. i would like to take it apoart and see if i have a borken spring or if it is just overwound.

Beachnut, nothing is broken so don't take it apart...it happend to me too......the instructions say

RELEASE TORSION SPRING TENSION BY TURNING THE WINDING HANDLE A SHORT DISTANCE IN THE CLOCKWISE DIRECTION ( AS ARROWS ON THE REAR DRUM COVER INDICATED). WHILE HOLDING THIS TENSION, PRESS THE KNURLING RATCHET PAWL BUTTOM IN A COUNTER CLOCKWISE DIRECTION. THEN ALLOW THE DRUM TO UNWIND UNDER IT'S OWN POWER UNTIL NO TENSION REMAINS ON THE WINDING HANDLE.

I had to do it a few times before I had it completely unwound.

    Hope this helps

Wallie, do you know if any parts are available for these. I have one in excellent condition with the loader, but the pawl, button & spring you refer to are missing from the winding handle. Thanks Bob

pardon my ignorance but what firearm are they intended to be used in. . . it looks as if it is intended for a handgun (much like the drum mags for the artilery model lugers)

am i in the park or way out in left field
