Believe Remington shotgun beads/sights are threaded 6-48. Brownells www.brownells.com have shotgun sight installers and all other shotgun sight accessories in their catalog.

The easiest way to remove a bead "CAREFULLY" is with some needlenose visegrips. Unless it's been epoxyed, than your going to have to "CAREFULLY" apply some direct heat around the area of the bead, and hope for the best.

Remington utilizes a stainless bead in most of their shotguns, it is not threaded but pressed and rolled, the shank of the sight sits in a unthreaded hole and a circular punch brads metal around the shank.....best way to remove? .....I use a set of side cutters with a groove cut in each jaw a few thousandths smaller than the sight, I place a piece of leather on the rib near the sight and grip the bead with the side cutter and pry the bead up and out.
