That is a sweet pistol. I have short fingers, wide hands. The gun with the pinkie rest works really well for me.

The gun is slim, perfect small-of-back for me (doubt is the wife will carry it this way.
It is in S&W's admittedly economy line, but one sales clerk told me, and he was in advanced years, that he carried one for several years. Never a provlem, and covered by a good warranty.

I found the slide to be a bit "rattle-ly (sp?)", like the tolarances were not tight enough.
Never bought it. But I bet if I shot it, that rattle would not bother me after a few dozen magazines.

The 908S was recently for sale on GB for $375, and the guy had a crate of them. The PPK/S is over $450 (I did not check). I'd definitely value the PPK/S over the Smith, by about $115.

Some Florida guys are selling Kahr polymer PM9s pretty cheaply. Seems it did not take off in that part of the world. DAO, 8~9# trigger.

If I had to choose, I'd spend a few more dollars on a MK9 over the 908S.
Next time a gun does not work out, maybe I'll get you quick cash for it.
    Always looking for a deal.

Ever consider an airweight 5-shot .38 special?
