Gordon Gun/Hopkins & Allen Arms Co

I have a side by side double barrel with exposed hammers, and on the barrel is is stamped wiht Damascus Finish, Belgium. Also, when the gun is open to the loading position, under the left barrel is stamped with the numbers 186198 and on the right side, it is stamped with 2277. Does anyone out there have any info, or could you point me in the right direction, about the maker of this shotgun? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
