Trying to find out the value of a Remington 511 Scoremaster .22 rifle?

I believe it's from the 1940's

  To find the date of manufacture(if ya wanna),look on the left side of the barrel,just in front of the reciever.You should see(in very small letters,a 2 or 3 digit "date code".With that,I/we can date it for you.
