Yea, 39ford, I purchased mine with a Bushnel holosight 2 mags
hard case, batteries for sight, bsquare mount for $800.00. I also
got to fire the gun first and bought 2 boxes of hardball and got one
free. The dealer is an old High school buddy. The gun is very tight
slide to frame fit, adjust trigger, target adjust sights and the holosight is dead on. I have since mounted the sight on another gun.
I like the 1911 with the open white dot sights. I have been offered my
money back for the gun while shooting with some friends, so I think I
done okay. Guess I'll e-mail springfield about some imfo. It is 2 tone
stainless and blued, with pachmayr sig grips. The new bush holosight is $249.00 mail order.

    Hope this helps,

I called Springfield Cutomer Service about 3 years ago, regarding one of their pistols. The lady I spoke to was very helpful in answering my question about the pistols production date and who specifically had it manufactured, ( low production model, made for a 3rd party distributor etc. ).

Thanks, rufe-snow that is my next course of action. I know they
are probably good folks. They sell too many guns not to be helpful.
