Colt AR-15A3 Tactical w/o restriction stamp
I have been doing some research on a rifle I own. It is marked Colt AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine. It does not have any LE/Military Restriction markings on it. I have heard that Colt produced such rifles with serial number range up to 134 or so and these appear to be very collectable. Anyway mine is BD002XXX and is not in the 134 range but it doesn't have the restriction stamp. Anyone shed any light on what I have? Value? Thanks for all your help!

Biggerhammer site http://www.biggerhammer.net/ar15/ar15serial.html lists the Tactical Carbines with low serial numbers as being very rare doesn't mention ones with higher serial numbers such as yours.
Done some more research on your Colt. One of my references notes that if the lower receiver is marked "AR-15" it's pre 1989 manufacture.
Also it values your Tactical Carbine between $1200 & $1900 depending on condition. This reference is 4 years old at least, so values could have changed substantially in the interim.
