Wild turkey are my passion and you must follow one rule to be a success.
"KISS" KEEP-IT-STUPIDLY-SIMPLE when and where possible.
The last thing you want to deal with if you have a hot gobbler comming in is the switch on a red dot. The light in the cheap red dots is very weak on the highest setting so if the bird is comming in with the sun to his back you'll have a difficult time getting a bead on him if you remember to turn it on.

That said I have the Tru-Glo on my 1300 and I couldn't be more pleased but $39.00 sounds expensive compared to what I paid a few years ago. I think I've seen the complete set at Wal Mart for less than $25.00. You also might want to look at Tru-Glo's extended/ported extra full turkey chokes. I also picked mine up al Wal Mart for less than $25.00 and it has a killer pattern and I've rolled many big toms with mine.
