ncstar scopes

Any feed back on these scopes? Tight budget so price is important. Was looking at the 6-24x50 for a 22/250 varmint rifle.

I was wondering if the NcStar scopes were any good. I have one but have not yet had any problems. Just wondering if anyone has.Thanks

My nephew has one on a .223 that used to be on his .17. He swears by the accuracy and it seemed really "dialed in" when I shot it. He DID have one fail also and was VERY pleased with the warranty service. More recently another shooter asked about these scopes here, on this forum, and I recall a couple of folks having less than laudatory things to say about their experiences! Maybe one of them will see this post and reply? I was under the impression that they were/are "decent" scopes for the money, on lighter recoiling rifles.

You could get a decent one or a bad one, hardly worth the chance in my opinion.

I bought one at the Knob Creek Machine Gun shoot because it looked cool. I got the one that fits on the handle of an AR and has the red / green reticle. Great for shooting cans or bowling pins, but I wouldn't get it if you really want accuracy. Try a red dot or halo sight
