I am not sure what "grade 2" means exactly, but I would pander a guess that it has been gone through and refinished. But you will still get that lowsy cop trigger.

Those factory refurbs are usually a pretty good deal. They even come with a warranty, don't they?
Cops don't shoot much anyway, so as long as they got all the powdered sugar and sprinkles out of the mechanism, you should be good to go. [;)]

Yes the pistol comes with a 1 year warranty and is checked out internally and suspect parts are replaced. They may come with scratches and show wear on the finish. That is why I was wandering about this grade 2 business. Anyone have any ideal what this means? The pistol is on auction and is sight unseen I have heard some are refinished. I guess I am saying Dandy don't want no ugly gun!! Unless of course it's a Glock!! Dandy

I think I remember reading something about these. As others have said, internals are to new spec, anything questionable is replaced. I think they will have some scratches, holster wear, ect. but I think any really bad cosmetics are redone or tossed. Besides, then you don't have to cry about the scratch YOU put in it when it dropped, fell off the bench, ect.
