S&W 1911 Sc

I would like to hear the experience any posters may have had with this 1911-style S&W in Scandium.

What part is Scandium?..frame or slide?

What is recoil like? How light is the pistol and is it offered with a Commander-length barrel?

  SC slide. Carbon steel frame. They are lighter 28 oz. no noticeable difference in felt recoil. How many do you want?

  I am thinking about it.
  
  I am a little confused about the weight. They are 28 oz lighter than a steel slide; or the slide weighs 28 oz; or the entire gun is 28 oz? I suppose the entire gun is 28 oz lighter than an all steel 1911 model.
  
  Is it available in a 4 inch barreled version for concealed carry???
