Carbon 15 Pistol

I went to the gun show today and noticed ar-15 parts cheap.I was wondering if anyone knows if there are foregrips available for the bushmaster pistol (the new models have them. I can't find them at Bushmasters web site). Also will the collapsible stocks fit my carbon 15 pistol?

    I'm seriously considering buying the Carbon 15 97S Pistol and was wondering if anyone could tell me if Bushmaster worked out some past problems such as jamming, etc. and also if anyone could give me their opinion as to the overall quality.

    Just to the collapsible stock on the pistol, you are talking big felony. Besides, they will not fit.

    BoeBoe, I thought with thr ban off and hence the weight restrictions gone, I'd be ok. The gun is regerstered as a pistol.

    The issue is, putting a folding stock(or collapsible, or any stock for that matter)on a pistol makes it a short barreled rifle, which is an NFA controlled firearm. The barrel on any rifle must be at least 16" long, otherwise is a SBR and considered an "any other weapon" which means special taxes and registration and such.

    Not unlike sawed-off shotguns, falls in the same sort of category...

    The forward handgrip would be okay, as long as the grip is parallel with the barrel, and doesn't extend down, or at something close to 90 degrees from the barrel...
