Mueller Scopes
Anybody use or have information on these scopes? I seen the 8.5-25 eradicator and wondered if they were worth the price. Any comments greatly appreciated...Bull[8D]

I hadn't encountered this brand before. Is it a qood quality product? Probably German mfg. Just wondered if anyone has had any experience with this brand. Thinking about one for a Rem 700 .280. -Don

I had a hard time finding info on these scopes. From what i learned they are japan glass german coating system then assembled in China. I just bought a 8.5x-25x-50mm and have yet to install and try it but from the people that i talked to at AR15.com forums they said it was close to the leupold vx11 in quaility. I paid 200.00 for mine and if it sucks ill send it back. But i hope it's decent. 0 -
I purchased a 3-10x40 Gold Red Dot. Seems to be a good scope. I put it on a .280 and sighted it in. Put about a box thru it and had no problems. Scope seems to work ok and I like the 1/8 moa clicks and dot. Don't know if optics are as good as Leupold, but close. I gave $160 for mine from a guy on Ebay. Im wondering if the guy whom said that to me was just trying to help insure himself that he bought a good scope. I too bought my scope off e-bay I know im takeing a pretty good chance i just have to many guns and not enough money to have burris mounted on top of all of them. I like the idea of the 1/8moa adjustment. Do you have the target knobs on yours? if so have you found it to come back to the same point after readjustment? 0 -

I think the guy who sells them on Ebay is a crook. He has a $1 starting bid but the reserve is the same as the buy it now of $2000 -
linemech: First of all, I don't need to tell you anything to assure myself that I bought a good scope. I have already done that by mounting and using it. Secondly, If you are not interested in the opinions of owners of the scopes, what are you doing here asking questions? I checked out the sellers feedback and found him to be an excellent vendor and felt there was little risk.
decee: The "guy" who sells them on Ebay is "helmeister". I paid him $159.99 delivered for my scope and had it in 2 days. If you think he is a crook you should tell him; not whine here about how he runs his auctions.

All i can say is "wow" I was trying to tell you what i had learned from speaking to some people on the issue of mueller scopes. I was in no way trying to make you feel bad about or question your choice of scopes. You yourself said that it was not leupold quaility. I stated in my first post that the guy i spoke to claimed it to be as good as a vx11 and after hearing what you had to say i implied in my second post that he might have been streching the truth a little to justify buying one. Sorry if it came out the wrong way. You shot down decee for trying to help too. He is right about the guy makeing the buy it now and the reserve the same amount (I bought mine from his as well) Does it make him a crook not in my opinion but i think he was trying to help too. I hope that when this scope shows up in the mail and i open it up that it does not make me turn into the type of person that you are. Because then ill really have to send it back.
