What do you think about buying the Olympic .223 Plinker and then buying the free floating heavy stainless barrel upper for it. Do you think that would be a good investment?

    How much is this rifle worth. I got it through a relative and would lke to know the value.

    Its a Colt Sporter Competition HBAR. It has 4 magazines. (2-20 rounds and 2-40 rounds) It has been shot one time only with approximately 40 rounds.

    2 of the AR's I own are DPMS. I would consider them one of the best.

    I'm not as familiar with modern assault rifles as I'd like to be. Here's a free message board that answered that question for me a couple weeks back. My slant is that DPMS is probably as good as Colt, just not as collectible but way less expensive.

    Stay away from Olympic Arms is what they say.

    Very good. My co-worker has a couple and their are very good quality. I would probably own one if the laws in the state of MN weren't so F'ed up.
