Glock 22 Accuracy....?
About 2 months ago I purchased my first Glock, a model 22 with fixed sights. The gun points well for me, has been 100% reliable through 725 rounds,and holds 15+1 roundsof .40. My only complaint has been accuracy, and i was wondering what you other Glock shooters, specifically 22 owners, have experienced accuracy-wise.
I have found my best 15 yard groups hover around the 3-4 inch range, with 25 yard groups opening up to about 6-7 inches. I did, however, manage to get 10 yard groups of between 1-2.5 inches (all of these being 5 shots). Is this the experience you all have had?
Now I do realize I haven't been shooting the best ammo. All firing has consisted of 180 grain FMJ's from Remington (UMC), Winchester USA brand, and CCI BLazers. However, my 9mm Beretta and Ruger p90 with cheap USA and UMC rounds will shoot 15 yard groups of 2 inches easily. Whats the deal?
Also, just to be sure I hadnt lost it I pulled out my P90 and fired a 1 9/16" group at 15 yards with UMC rounds. Anyway, sorry this got so long and I'd love any input from fellow Glock shooters. Thanks!

Considering you only have 750 rounds through your Glock those groups are not bad. It will take time going from your P90 to the Glock to get the same accuracy. Just adjust to the gun and trigger and keep on shooting. 0 -
I am a police firearms instructor, and when we switched to Glock 22s, I noted some serious accuracy problems with people that used to shoot well with the old Beretta 92s. The Glock is very picky on your grip and especially your trigger pull. 0 -
I have had about the same results with my Model 22. I have had it for about 12 years and it has never been particular accurate. I own 8 different 40 S&W pistols and I believe it is the least accurate of the bunch. 0
