Old double barrel 12
I know without a picture or a name it will be hard to identify but let's give it a try b/c I do not have a digital cam.
It's an old hammer gun with the safety on the pistol grip. You squeeze the grip to release the safety. It has a splinter forend and a stock with a raised cheek piece. Swivel on the barrel and in the stock to accept a sling. On the right barrel the Letters "Horr..... The rest is too far gone to make out. The sidelocks have considerable amount of engraving. - NOT MUCH to go on but if anyone could point me in the "a" direction, I would be greatful.

How about Proof Marks....? Look on the watertable under the rear of the Barrels....Maybe I/We can figure out the country of origin at the very least.......

Under the barrels on the flat section by the barrel hinge, there is a circle and a crown on top of the circle. In the circle are the letters - E and under that letter is the letters LG and under that is a star. All of this is within the circle with a crown on top of the circle. Also on the underneath are the letters "PALIF" maybe. 0
