Ruger .204
I have been pondering buying a Remington 700 LV SF chambered in .204 Ruger. I enjoy reloading and shooting many small caliber centerfires from .222 Rem to .220 Swift. I was wondering what kind of experiences people have had shooting and reloading for this caliber? Also, I was wondering what make and model rifle people have shot in this caliber? Has anyone had any experience with the 700 LV SF? I appreciate any input you may have to offer.

Since it's been here for a bit, does anyone have any more input? I just ordered a Cooper Varmint Extreme in .204. Was that a mistake? 0 -
Mark,

I have heard a lot of good things about the caliber but, I'd like some feedback from people that don't work for Ruger,Hornady, etc... 0 -
Just bought a cz527 in .204 ruger. Sweet action and shoots well out of the box-not much reload data available yet, but it's fun to shoot and gets there quick. 0 -
bogen,
I have a Savage 12FV in the Ruger 204 and it shoots absolutely fantastic. Very flat and virtually no recoil. I have a 2.8-10 Simmons Aetec mounted on it. Did a great job on a 32 pound coyote during deer season. Coyote fell over and never even a twitch of the tail. Great caliber. Hope you get what you want. I haven't any reloading experience with this cartridge.0 -
Bogen, Groundhog Devastation had a whole lot to say about this caliber about a week ago. Check his posts and read them.
Cheers,
