Does anyone have any experience with the B & L scopes made around 1990? I'm looking at a 6-24 x 40, and am wondering if they are pretty good scopes, and about how much I should expect to pay for a scope in this power range that is in good shape. Thanks.

I have a B&L 2.5X7X40 on my .17 HMR. I am really happy with it. I bought it used at a gunshow for $160 (I think) Sorry but this is all the information I have

I was not aware that B & L were making a 6-24 scope as recently as 1990. The 6-24 made in Rochester NY in the 1960's was an excellent scope but long out of production so parts/repairs may not be easily obtained. You can expect to pay $400-$500 for the Rochester made 6-24.
