Ithaca double identification

I have an Ithaca 16GA double, serial number 251154, left bbl full, right modified. I picked this up at an estate auction and it still had the original Ithaca hang tag on it. I don't think it has ever been fired since the bores are both pristine without a trace of a mark in them. The gun was found standing in a corner in a barn. It had some very light rust which I was able to remove with bronze wool and gun oil without taking the bluing off. No bluing wear. Some light pitting did occur in several spots but not too bad. The wood has some light handling marks. Finish is in tact.

Can someone identify the model and its manufacturing date? Anyone care to hazard a guess of its value?

    I forgot to add that there is a long haired pointer engraved on both sides.

    You have an Ithaca Flues model made in 1914 according to the serial number.Flues models do not command the price of the newer NID models but they are beginning to creep up.

    It would seem to me that the Hang Tag might shed some light on the AGE.Take it to the local news paper and have the print manager look at it.Sometimes they can determine the period it was printed and by what system.That will tell you a lot.Besides that go to google and type in Ithica Guns.You just might luck out.
