Ran across a dbl 12 ga in 99% cond. SN was 234730. Aside from that no other markings. Orig - not re-blued. Don't think it had auto ejectors. Any idea about value?

have a 20 guage double barrel dated march 26 1878. has a #150366 under the forarm and # 50366 ontriger guard with damascut steel barrels. would like info on gun and value gun is in good shape 0 -

No pic's. I was doing an estate appraisal and the deceased son brought it with him. He' snot going to sell it, but, it has to be valued for the estate taxes.
I'm thinking somewhere in the $1500-$2000 range.

Serial No. indicates 1930 DOM.
What percent of strong original case colors are on the receiver
and forearm attaching iron? Grade will be a letter on the water table.
Double or single trigger? Splinter or beavertail? Percent of original
varnish on wood? Stock cut? Frame size, etc.
Not a great deal to go on greeker w/o answers to questions.
