I carry a Glock 26. I'm not a big guy and I think it tucks away nicely. Carrying any gun is a compromise in comfort.
Most Glocks are utterly reliable, and mine shoots point of aim at a defensive range. I haven't shot it past about 15 yards. Beyond that, I guess my plan is to run! [;)]

Having never been a fan of polymer-framed pistols named anything other than Grendel or Sig; I find myself wanting a G33 as well.
The size does not matter to me as much as the caliber for my carry guns; there's a lot of me to hide a gun behind.
I have never owned a G-rod, but I'm getting one of these puppies soon.
As far as marksmanship; if you can't hit it at 15 yards, you should carry a good knife.
From what I hear about the 15shot mag and the 4 safeties built into a Glock, the fixed sights are the least of my concerns.
I'm going fullsize because a smaller pistol will be difficult to control with my big hands.

OK, thanks for the opinions. I'm probably going to get the Glock 33 sometime soon.

I had a Glock 33 for several years. It was accurate and was 110% reliable. But it can be a booger to hold on to because of the short fat grip. You just might want to try one at the range before buying. Thats my .02 worth. :)

MPinkston, thanks for the input. I'm getting the Pearce grip extender
that replaces the floorplate in the 9 round magazine. It increase the length of the grip and provides a place for my pinky finger to grip.
Ever used the grip extender, anyone? Thanks.

Then why in the world do you want a 33 instead of a mid size 32? The hard part to conceal is the grip NOT the slide and barrel. Guess what you just made with your grip extenders? right a short barrel, 9 shot (instead of 12) model 32.

Punchie: You may be right. I haven't purchased the magazine grip extender yet. But why do people purchase the magazine extension if it creates a problem for conceal carry? My hands are medium, Maybe I won't need the grip extender? I've never held the gun or any Glock. I get the weapon this afternoon.
