As I have stated previously on this forum, for rebarreling, particularly when you want something "your way", I know of no better barrel or barrel maker than CP Donnelly of Grants Pass,OR. He makes his barrels from scratch, using equipment he got from his mentor, PO Ackley. The price for what you are talking about is slightly less than $300 installed. Slightly more is you want it glass-bedded or similar added features.

If you do need to remove stock material for the new bbl, it should be an easy task.

Any good gunsmith can open the barrel channel and reseal it while installing the barrel. One of the Best barrels I have seen for the price is the PacNor. Any top end blank will be more than accurate enough,..Shilen, Kostyshin, Hart, Douglass, Kreiger, PacNor, Lilja, etc. Have the action trued while the barrel work is being done,..that will only run about another $150 and is well worth it.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

Unless your into match barrels such as Pac-Nor, and I have a bunch of those.
Think about using a ER Shaw barrel from Bridgeville, Pa. They are a plenty good enough barrel for general use, I have one in a 280 Remington that shoots very nice and the price was a lot less than my S/S S/M Pac-Nors.

Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.
