Tokarev pistols

It seemed about 6 months ago they were the flavor of the month and everybody had them. Did the supply dry up or is there anyone out there that knows where to purchase one reasonably?

    I see there are Romanian Tokarov pistols starting to show up on the surplus market. I've long thought I'd like to have one but I'm getting leary about some of the surplus guns coming into the country. Has anyone got some good information on these pistols or advice they can offer on this type of pistol? SOG has them for $229 dealer price but that seems a little high.

    Just bought a commercial model in 9mm by Norinco called the Model 213. Norinco stuck a backward safety on it to satisfy US regs. The 9mm can be reconverted back to 7.62 by removing a pinned-in magazine spacer and buying a new barrel & magazine. Parts as well as Chinese and Russian holsters can be found in a Google search. Barrels and magazines are available in 9mm but you probably would have to make up the mag well spacer.
    I got two replies to want ads on this and the other gun auction site.
    The gun replaces a bringback I shouldn't have sold.
