    You pretty much got them covered. The Rossi and Puma are the same one though and the others are built by the same company in Itlay. Boils down to other than the Winchester and what ever they are producing right to 2 types. Brazilian made or Itailan Made. Maybe more than one company bringing them in under different names but there are only 2 plants that really build them. 1 in Brazil the other in Italy. I do believe.

    There were some copies out of Spain in the 60's called El Tigre....


    Chambered in in 44-40...really poor quality!!!

    The B92 made for Browning in Japan, was made in 357 & 44 Mag.
    It is as well made as any.

    Tigre and Puma both mean mountain lion in Spanish. Are the same outfit?
    I had a new one in the early '60s that looked beautiful on the outside but the internal parts and screws looked like they were gnawed out of steel by Jaws before he was recruted for 007.
    The gun didn't shoot worth a hoot and I unloaded it quick.
    If it's the same company, I hope they got better.

    Thanks Taperloc but I'm looking for a 45 colt version and I hate to admit it but I'm looking to pay about 1/2 of what the Browning is going to sell for. But thanks for the help.
