454 Casull Trim to Length Question

Trying my first attempt at reloading the 454, but while in the resizing phase, all my spent brass' lenght is less than the recommend trim-to-length of 1.380. I did find one recommendation of a trim-to-length of 1.365, which is feasible with my brass, but Im stuck. Any suggestions? Just use my brass and trim them all to a uniform lenght, which would be in the 1.375 range, or should I just get new brass? Im using spent Winchester and Corbon (starline brass maybe?) Thanks for any help!

    Hello you will find that bottle neck Cartridges cases have a tendency to grow in OAL but straight walled pistol cases have a tendency to get shorter. When you reload if the case is slightly short no harm is done but this WILL cause a problem when you come to the amount of crimp you get. Most people crimp a heavy magnum like a 454 with a roll crimp. if you roll crimp then all cases need to be the same OAL if you taper crimp then slight differances in OAL are not critical. quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN"
