Hi
You so-called EXPERTS sure are a bunch of sore losers ! I don't mind being called a smart ass from your kind. I'm glad I don't have to associate with you in public.
Bawl Babies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grow up people !!! Throw your books away, they will get you in trouble if you don't know how to read them.. LOL LOL LOL
If you need any help with the 88, just ask.
I thought you cave men hibernated in the winter ?

What a freakin Maroon... and an immature one at that. Insulting people and calling them names on this site will get you absolutely no where... grow-up your self!
Why did you not try to answer any of my questions[?] I am anxiously awaiting your answers.
Here is another question for you... have you ever been to the Cody Firearms Museum? If not, I would highly recommend it (if you are MAN enough to admit that you are wrong that is). For what it is worth, I am a long time member of the Cody Museum[:0]
Your apparent hero... Douglas Murray, is obviously not the most knowledgable person as it applies to the Model 88. I personally, tend to believe the written word of a long time Winchester employee (Herbert Houze), and since he stated that the serial numbers actually began with number 1 (and that gun is in the Cody Museum), I find it very difficult to disagree with him. However, Mr. Murray's story is easy to shoot holes in.

You really crack me o'young one[:o)] The term "Maroon" was penned by Mel Blanc in his role as Bugs Bunny... back in the 1950s. As for my education level, take a look in my profile and see if you can figure it out. Again, what a Maroon you are[:o)][}:)]
p.s. Most people do not like unsolicited advice and email messages...
