Glock 22 Accuracy....?
About 2 months ago I purchased my first Glock, a model 22 with fixed sights. The gun points well for me, has been 100% reliable through 725 rounds, and holds 15+1 roundsof .40. My only complaint has been accuracy, and i was wondering what you other Glock shooters, specifically 22 owners, have experienced accuracy-wise.
I have found my best 15 yard groups hover around the 3-4 inch range, with 25 yard groups opening up to about 6-7 inches. I did, however, manage to get 10 yard groups of between 1-2.5 inches (all of these being 5 shots). Is this the experience you all have had?
Now I do realize I haven't been shooting the best ammo. All firing has consisted of 180 grain FMJ's from Remington (UMC), Winchester USA brand, and CCI BLazers. However, my 9mm Beretta and Ruger p90 with cheap USA and UMC rounds will shoot 15 yard groups of 2 inches easily. Whats the deal?
Also, just to be sure I hadnt lost it I pulled out my P90 and fired a 1 9/16" group at 15 yards with UMC rounds. Anyway, sorry this got so long and I'd love any input from fellow Glock shooters. Thanks!
