M1 Trigger Housing??

I refinished my Rock Ola with original parts and in the process I wound up with 2 trigger housings (got the second one with a slide). The one I used looks different from the one in this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=585&item=6505453712&rd=1 and I have it also. Why atre they completely different. In the first pic the cutout is slanted upward on an angle and on the one I used it looked to be milled straight across, the rear lug on the one I used looked like a milled piece and the other looks to be welded together. What gives, Don't want to put this one in the Ask the experts because we are the experts..

    Sorry to have to tell you this PJ, but the person from whom you have been buying parts specializes in reproduction parts.

    You need to buy "US M1 Carbines Wartime Production" by Craig Riesch. Another helpful book is called "War Babies", the author's name escapes me. And, you may want to browse the M1 Carbine Forum at the Culver Shooting Page (www.jouster.com).

    Got the book and I check all the parts when I get them, from every angle. The slide was correct but that housing was more than a little odd looking. The original housing I have marked Rock Ola is correct along with all the other parts already on it. Thanks I was looking to see if anyone seen this type before.
