Real Ivory ?

Is there a way to test a pair of grips to see if they are real ivory? [8]

If you can't run with the BIG DOGS stay on the porch!!

Turn the grip over, a spot that won't be seen.
Heat a piece of small wire red hot, touch a
place on the back of the grip, ivory burns,
smell it, smells like hair/fingernails burning.
Just touch it.....quick....then smell.

What wapo3030 said, and plastic melts. Safety pin works great.

wapo3030 has the correct solution on both accounts, bone and ivory! If you are unsure as to if something is plastic or not always remember plastic melts.
