XD or glock?

I'm getting another addition to my handgun collection. I'm not sure whether or not I should get a glock or a springfield xd. If anyone has advice, lay it on me.

  get the Glock...their not pretty but like the old Zippo lighters used to advertise...They will fire first time, every time...IMHO

  i personaly would go for the XD. a much safer handgun and is known for it's accuracy and reliability

  I like the glock alot. It does everything I want and does it well. Police departments and militaries around the world can not be all wrong. My 2 cents [8D]

  Glock hands down. Tested and proven as a good reliable fighting weapon.
  
  As to regaurds to Staind460 comment about it being a safer weapon, totally untrue, you can give a moron a gun with 20 different safties on it and he or she would still put a roud into the deck on accident. Safety totally depends on the operator.

  If it is any indication, many of the Glock shooters in the IDPA group I shoot with are switchign to XD's. Try them both and then decide.
  
  Everyone is different as to how a gun feels to them.
