grandads old gun

I inherited an old 16 gauge single shot break over shotgun from my grandfather.J.StevensArms&ToolCo.chicopee falls mass,usa -is on yhe port side.Behind the trigger gaurd MM710 orMM910 is stamped.Top of the barrel shows - * Electro Steel* Choke Bored

Can anyone give me some info at all?

  Enjoy the memories the gun evokes. It's a part of your history.
  
  The gun is obviously a utility model single. Inexpensive, but well made. I don't have the details in front of me as to the exact age attributed to the stampings as described, but I assure you this basic design has had a long and successful run.
  
  I believe your gun could have been made no later than 1916, but that's based on what I can recall. If I'm wrong, someone will let us know.
