Knoxx Sidewinder conversion kit FEEDING PROBLEM
I recently purchased a sidewinder kit for a Mossberg 500A. After installation I pumped a few drums through it to see how it would function and ran into a problem. The rounds would never jam, but about every 2nd or 3rd one wouldn't feed into the barrel. They're just sitting in the magazine tube waiting to be grabbed. Like I said, it never jammed so all I had to do was keep pumping it and eventually it would load, sometimes it would take an extra 3 pumps to actually load the shell. The only thing I could come up with is that maybe the 2 3/4" shells don't perform well. I haven't had the opportunity to test it with 3" inch yet. I'm hoping the extra 1/4" is all it needs to feed better.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?

If I were you I would be hoping its not a problem with the shorter shells, because yuo are sure to take a beating in price and recoil shooting 3 inchers from it. 0 -
I recently purchased one, but haven't had the chance to test it out yet. I'll let you know if I run into any problems. 0 -
Make sure to use the full stroke; mine jammed with those Aguila minishells & Federal target loads (2 3/4"), and all I had to do was pump it all the way!
