Ithaca 16 ga.
]Hi, this is my first post. I have an Ithaca 16 ga. double barrel that was won on a punchboard at a carnival by my great grandfather. I am 50 now so the gun is far from new. It is hammerless and both sides are full choke. I believe it is known as a featherlight. It is in very good condition. How would one find the manufacture date and value of such a shotgun? Again, I'm new so please forgive my lack of knowledge.

The serial number will tell us when it was made (+/- a year), and it will help to identify which specific Model it is. Value is primarily based on two things, the graded condition, and the Model & grade. Graded condition is best stated as the % of original factory finish remaining on the frame, the tubes, and the stocks. Also of importance, is the condition of the bores.
