Jarvis .22 1911 conversion

Was planning on purchasing a .22 1911 conversion. Marvel looked interesting then came across Jarvis. Jarvis slide is steel, Marvel aluminum. Any experience with Jarvis conversion? Thanks in advance.

  Hello The differance between the marvel and most of the others is in the group size the marvel has a way to lock the barrel to the frame. If you want to plink the jarvis, ceiner, kimber, colt are fine but if you want to shoot in matches they won't make the grade.There was a match grade conversion unit made by KART that does have a steel slide and is not available new. quote: contact me karlw@piedmontequipment.com for more info quote:Praise the HARDBALL gun"

  I have a Jarvis and it works fine. It is a little tricky to install on some frames. I have had a Colt conversion and it was easier to install.
