help on old stevens 22

    I'm not gonna be much help here,but,the model 75 "Hammerless" isn't listed in any of the three books I have here handy(Blue Book,Gun Traders Guide and Flaydermans).I did find an add in another book on Savage & Stevens Arms that was dated 1929.Stevens had some really interesting firearms back in the old days,but,it can really be a pain in the rear to do any real research on them since there were hardly any records kept.I'm sure there is someone here that's much more knowledgable than me who will show up directly.

    stevens model 75 hammerless...cal 22 s-l-lr slide action side eject....tube mag...20 shorts..17 longs..15 long rifle...24' BBL...BEAD FRONT ADJ REAR SIGHT...PLAIN WALNUT STRAIGHTGRIP STOCK W GROOVED (14???) SLIDE HANDLE...app 5 1/4 lbs..made from early 30's till ww 11.......1989 guide says excellent $200...vg $150...maybe value is in family history ???? enjoy old 22's
