    I think it would be neat to do but not sure how much use it would see if I owned one. If I need heavy firepower quickly I would just as rather each for my NMSBH .44 than a rifle. It might see some use in the heavy brush though.

    Besides deflecting blast away from the forearm you should consider your face is a lot closer to the cylinder. Blast exiting the joint between cylinder and frame is also reflected rearward.
    These guns weren't popular as percussion guns.
