Ted Williams Model 100. 30-30 Year of manufacture?

Hey guys, My son has one of those Ted Williams Model 100's 30-30 win. And he would like to know if you guys could give him a rough idea on what year these rifles were manufactured? He does know that Winchester made them for Sears and Roebuck, but that's all. Any information would be very helpful!

    It was manufactured sometime during the 1950s/1960s... sorry, can't get any closer than that.

    If memory serves, this question came up sometime back on a Winchester version of the Model 70 sold through Sears. A poster checked with Winchester and was told that the Winnies made for sears were numbered in the same series with the underlying model. You should be able to check the serial number against the Winchester serialization lists in the Blue Book and come up with a yea of manufacture.
