Taurus Tracker 17 HMR

About a year ago I sold a Tracker 17 HMR to one of my better customers, he just called me tonight and said he wanted to trade it in on a rifle because it was so inaccurate. He claimed the best 5 shot group he could get off of sand bags was 8" and 50 yards. He said it shoots all over the place. I think he put a scope on it, because I sold him the scope mount for it, but not the scope. I'm wondering if maybe he has a bad scope. Does anyone have any experience with the accuracy of these little Taurus 17 HMR's? I think it was the 6.5" version.

    there is something wrong with his scope. My new Tracker is th emost accurate handgun that I have ever shot.. Here is a pic of mine and a pic of the target first time out with it OFFHAND at 40'.. you tell me if its accurate//:):)

    Thanks for the reply. I kind of thought it was his scope. If I find out that the scope is ok, I wonder what kind of warranty Taurus will offer.
