RZM Marked PPK
I have a RZM Marked PPK, in mint condition and a DRGM AKAH marked holster also in mint condition. I understand that these were issued to Nazi Party Leaders. Is there anyone who has knowledge how one could trace the serial number to determine who the Party leader that originally possessed the firearm was? I understand that the records were destroyed by the Russians at the end of the war, but I was hoping someone might have the historical knowledge. I have already contacted the Walther Factory in Germany, to no avail. Help if you can! Please email me at sundial@ptd.net. Thanks so much!

Simply having the RZM is no proof that it went to a party leader. You must have the eagle grips for it to be considered a party leader weapon. The RZM is just a control marking but unfortunately, those records are long gone.
Very nice weapon to have though.
It is a poor sort of man who is content to be spoon-fed knowledge that has been filtered through the canon of religious or political belief, and it is a poor sort of man who will permit others to dictate what he may or may not learn.

The grips do not have the Eagle, I wish they did. Thanks for the reply! 0
