Fine rifles that are solid steel and walnut. I've used my .22 mag for years, no problems.

I own a model 62 and I have a word of warning for you and anybody else that owns these, the design of the ejector almost completly covers the next round to be chambered,, when you eject a spent round and look in the action all you can see is the tip of a bullet and an empty ejector. With a standard lead bullet and ejection plate being about the same color, To an unknowing eye, a quick glance can give the apperance of a cleared chamber.

The early versions of these made by Rossi were pure junk . Taurus newer versions are made much better , especially with fit and finish ,parts better made in new ones also.
